Memorial Day Weekend!

So, Erwin took the kids to some motorcycle races in California for the weekend. They sure sound like they had a great time!

Of course, they had to stop in Las Vegas on the way down. They traveled on Cristian's Birthday and so he told people that he was going to see the "Lion King in Las Vegas" for his birthday! There are pictures taken in the Rain Forest Cafe in the MGM Grand Hotel. Gabriela made Erwin go to the Bellagio to see the gardens too.

Gabby's 2nd grade program.

Gabby is just finishing up the 2nd grade. I can't believe how fast she is growing up! So, for their "end of year program" the kids sang patriotic songs and talked about our country.

This is Gabby with her teacher, Miss Evans. Gabby has really liked her teacher this year.

And here are Gabby and some of the other kids after the program was over. All of the kids were asked to wear blue jeans and a red or white shirt.

The things we do for love.

So, I really love my husband! I love him so much that I spent a freezing night at motorcycle races in Salt Lake. We were rained on, snowed on, and even hailed on! The kids and I were absolutely miserable, but Erwin was in heaven! Here are the few pictures that we were able to take in between the pouring wet from the sky.

The Monster Mash

Okay, below is the Monster Mash starring Cristian as the mad scientist, Caleb as Frankenstein, Gabby as the bride of Frankenstein, Annika as the warewolf,and Maxine as Dracula. The kids sure had fun with this one! Gabby insisted that Frankenstein be a boy because she couldn't marry a girl, of course! Caleb and Annika are friends and Maxine is a cousin (most of you already know who Max is). Anyway, we hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed making it!

Family Pictures

Odio fotos familiares! Y tengo una razon muy buena! Nosotros sacamos fotos con toda me familia recien. Esto quiere decir que tuvimos 13 adultos y 8 ninos. Los ninos tienen entre 10 anos hasta 6 semanas de edad. Y adivina cual nino era el peor de todos? Si, era mi hijo Cristian!
I hate family pictures! And I have a very good reason. We had family pictures recently with my entire family. This means 13 adults and 8 children. The children ranged in age between 10 years old to 6 weeks old. And who was the worst of all the kids? you ask. Yes, that would be my Cristian!






Despues de sacar la foto del todo el grupo, empezamos a sacar fotos de cada familia individualmente. Y otra vez, Cristian no se porto bien.
And that is not all, after our group picture we moved on to our individual family pictures. Again, Cristian did not cooperate!

We took a little break, but then we tried again to get a picture of the Bastidas family and this is what we got.
