Here are a few pictures from Christmas, the kids opening their gifts.

These next pictures are from my mom and dad's house on Christmas day. We went over there late afternoon and had dinner and played games.

Merry Christmas or Feliz Navidad!

Well, Christmas has come and gone! We had a fantastic Christmas. On the 23rd we has a great time at the Fisher family Christmas party. Santa brought some great, funny gifts for all, including some huge blow up shoes!

Gabby got some light up sunglasses from "Santa" too.

My sister made these headbands for Gabby and I. They are very cute, but I am kind of a brat and told her I would prefer one that is brown. So, I gave mine to my sister in law and my sister will make a new one for me. She's the best!

Even Erwin got into the spirit of the Holiday!

Let it snow!

And my oh my, it snowed! Here in Payson we have gotten about 2 feet of snow! It was a snow day for the kids and for me today. Nebo school district closed the schools today and I called off for work. Gabby and I spent about an hour and a half shoveling the driveway and helping a few neighbors get their cars unstuck who weren't lucky enough to call off from work. After that, the kids just had so much fun playing!
Cayo mucho nieve recien.

Don't hate the outfit, its a snow day!

Christmas program

Last week Cristian's preschool put on a Christmas program. It was very cute and, of course, Cristian was the cutest! He did a very good job with his "part" as well as spreading Christmas cheer by singing loud enough for all to hear! Cristian was the letter "C" and told us all that "C is for the Christ child. His birth is the reason we celebrate Christmas."

His favorite song to sing was Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer and I have been lucky enough to hear him singing this song over and over and OVER again at home, in the grocery store, in the car, in the bathtub, and anywhere else that he wants to sing it!

As the program ended, Santa made an appearance (of course). After months of telling me that he wanted a spinosaraus, Cristian told Santa that he wants a sled! By the way, there really is a dinosaur called a spinosaraus to my surprise. I argued with Cristian telling him that there was no such thing and he absolutely schooled me. He looked it up on the internet and called me over to see it. So, I have been hunting for a spinosaraus only to find out now that he really wants a sled.

Cristian as always

Cristian was real cooperative for our picture, as always.

Cristian's family picture

Okay, so Cristian insisted that we include his family of dinosaurs in our Christmas pictures!

Christmas is in the air!

Well, as Christmas time is approaching, we at the Bastidas house are getting excited. Last week, Erwin had the kids and I sit down in front of the tree to take some pictures. We selected one of the pictures to go out with our Christmas card, but I am posting several of them on our blogspot.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great halloween this year! Gabby was a midnight fairy, Cristian was Hiccup (from How to Train Your Dragon), I was a brain donor, and Erwin was a stouffer's employee (who unfortunately had to work on halloween night). The kids had parties at their schools, I had a party at work, we went trick or treating in downtown Payson, then we went to a halloween thing at my mom's, and ended the night with our neighborhood version of trunk or treating. We have enough candy to last for the next several months! Santa may even stuff stockings with halloween candy! Anyway, here are some pictures of our halloween fun!

Motocross of Nations

So we took a little trip to Colorado for the motocross of nations last month. I am just a bit behind posting pictures and information about our trip. Of course, Erwin was on top of the world! He had so much fun! The rest of us had a good time and we were happy to cheer on the United States riders. It was a good race, but in the end, the U.S. came out on top and were the overall winners! Here are a few pictures of us enjoying the race.

While we were in Colorado, we did several fun things! We went to the Denver Zoo.

We hiked to a pretty waterfall!

We went swimming at both the hotel and at some hot springs.

Erwin and the kids tamed some wild animals!

All in all, I would say it was an excellent trip!
