Gabriela's Baptism
So, since my most recent post, our sweet Gabriela was baptized. Erwin was able to baptize her and it was an amazing moment for me! I couldn't be more proud of both Gabby and Erwin. I am so lucky to have the Gospel in my life and to be able to share it with my family. Gabby looked beautiful in her white dress. She was quite shy during the program which is a bit odd for her. My dad gave a talk for the program and he did a great job, as usual. It was a day that I will always remember and I think that Gabby will too!

Two Buck Tuesdays!
I know, it's a miracle! Two posts within one week! But, I have to say, I love Two Buck Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point. The kids and I took advantage of this great price by spending the evening at Farm Country with my friend Alesa and her cute daughter Nora. We had a lot of fun! Gabby even rode the horse! (Cristian was too grumpy to ride). Here are some pictures of the fun time!

Summer is quickly slipping away!
I can't believe that it is already August 7! Where has the summer gone. Here are a few highlights from the Bastidas summer.

In June, I participated in the Relay for Life. Gabby and Cristian came with me and had a lot of fun! Cristian is a pirate (of course) and Gabs is a cat!

In June, we also went to the Manti Pageant with the kids. It was a lot of fun and Erwin and I spent some time remembering when we went to the Manti Pageant ten years ago. It was our second date and look how far we have come now!
Finally, in July the kids and I went camping. I know...crazy! But it was for a family reunion. We went to Oxford, Id and spent 4 days with our extended family. Somehow, I managed not to take many pictures (big surprise there).
Here is a picture of my Grandma Fisher. Isn't she a hottie?!
And I do have a few pictures from Twin Lakes...

Gabriela meets Mike Alessi
Motorcycle races
Memorial Day Weekend!
So, Erwin took the kids to some motorcycle races in California for the weekend. They sure sound like they had a great time!
Of course, they had to stop in Las Vegas on the way down. They traveled on Cristian's Birthday and so he told people that he was going to see the "Lion King in Las Vegas" for his birthday! There are pictures taken in the Rain Forest Cafe in the MGM Grand Hotel. Gabriela made Erwin go to the Bellagio to see the gardens too.

Gabby's 2nd grade program.
Gabby is just finishing up the 2nd grade. I can't believe how fast she is growing up! So, for their "end of year program" the kids sang patriotic songs and talked about our country.

This is Gabby with her teacher, Miss Evans. Gabby has really liked her teacher this year.

And here are Gabby and some of the other kids after the program was over. All of the kids were asked to wear blue jeans and a red or white shirt.
